Nestled between the bustling streets of Bengaluru is celebrated chef Mr. Subodh Goyal’s brainchild, Maa da Dhaba. A true delight for connoisseurs of excellent Punjabi food, Maa da Dhaba is Mr. Goyal’s attempt to bring the best of North Indian cuisine to the masses at affordable prices. Chef Subodh’s journey began with a desire to fulfil people’s cravings for authentic, palatable Punjabi cuisine. Leaving his promising 13 year-long career behind, Mr Goyal set out on a trip to revive Dhaba style food and to retain its relevance. To bring this dream to life, he tirelessly explored the arterial highways of Northern India, from New Delhi to Amritsar, he journeyed to discover the secrets of delectable Punjabi food, dined at roadside dhabas to understand the variety of flavours that make this cuisine so peculiar and brought back with him all the experiences he had lived to build MaaDaDhaba.


After this extensive first-hand research, he spent innumerable hours and meticulously crafted a menu to provide his customers with authentic Punjabi taste in every bite. On the 15th day of August 2014, Chef Subodh Goyal’s dedication and passion culminated in the launch of Maa Da Dhaba. His dream to bring the true flavours of Northern India to the South is finally a reality.


Over the last few years, Maa Da Dhaba has emerged as one of the best restaurants in Bengaluru to relish freshly cooked North Indian delicacies. Maa Da Dhaba Express is a one-stop solution for all your street food cravings. Serving freshly prepared street fare at reasonable prices, Maa Da DhabaExpress specializes in serving vegetarian fast food that essentially draws inspiration from from the streets of Delhi and Amritsar. Unlike the primary restaurant, Maa Da Dhaba Express focuses solely on sweets, chaats, namkeens and thaalis. This venture has proved to be a turning point for our business since a record number of footfall was recorded and word-of-mouth made it a popular choice amongst masses. The feedback we have received has been phenomenal and we hope to keep expanding and succeeding in our endeavours.

Each and every individual in the team has been selected based on their extraordinary skills and proficiency in specific areas of management and cooking. Each member of the team puts their best foot forward and adds their skill to this excellent concoction to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.


This organized and well-coordinated team is led by the maestro himself. Chef Subodh Goyal. The heart of Maa Da Dhaba, Chef Subodh is not an ordinary chef but an expert who has worked with top 5-star hospitality brands. His journey from the kitchens of 5-star hotels to the kitchen of his own restaurant has been full of excitement as well as challenges.


Yet, he did not give up. He took every step with sincerity and gave in to his dream all that he had; the result is right there for all of us to see (and eat!). He lays great emphasis on team work and feels that Maa Da Dhaba would not have been successful if it was not for his brilliant team. His next goal is to widen the outreach of Maa Da Dhaba and take the authentic taste of North India to as many people as possible.
